Co Founder & Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Criddle's passions are emergency, trauma, neuro, transport, and critical care. She is board certified in emergency nursing (adult and pediatric), orthopedic nursing, gerontological nursing, critical care (adult and pediatric), neuroscience nursing, stroke nursing, flight nursing, and nursing professional development. Laura holds advanced practice certifications as an adult acute care clinical nurse specialist and as a critical care clinical nurse specialist

Dr. Criddle has been a CNS since 1990, practicing as an emergency, trauma, flight, or neuroscience clinical nurse specialist at 5 facilities across the country. Throughout her career, Laura has cared for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations and has published over 90 journal articles, books, and book chapters covering a wide range of topics. She regularly speaks to health care audiences across the country. Dr Criddle is a fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing, past chair of the Academy, and a senior editor for the Journal of Emergency Nursing. Laura has held academic appointments at 4 universities and colleges and is the co-founder of TCAR Education Programs where she currently works as a clinical nurse specialist and serves as the company’s Chief Clinical Officer.

Robert E. Brock
MS ACC PMP

Co Founder, CEO & Chief Learning Officer

Mr. Brock is a veteran leader working with startup, medium-sized and fortune 500 companies in business and technology. Robert started his career in industrial television producing directing and editing scores of training and infotainment productions for corporate and ad agency clients. For the past 20 years, Mr. Brock has served in line, executive and consulting management helping organizations establish, structure and improve organization, business and technology operations and programs. Robert is certified in executive coaching, project management, many personality and leadership/team performance assessments and is a lean six sigma green belt. Mr. Brock holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and Marketing, a Master of Science in Compute Systems Design & Management and he is pursuing a doctorate in Educational Psychology.

Cheryl Wraa
MSN RN

Director, TCAR Education Programs

Born and raised in Northern California, Cheryl Wraa graduated from the Kaiser School of Nursing in Oakland, California in 1975. Cheryl later received BSN and MSN degrees from California State University, Sacramento. The majority of Cheryl’s career has been in intensive care, emergency, flight nursing, and trauma care. Ms. Wraa spent 6 years as the Trauma Program Manager for the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, a level 1 Adult and level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center that serves a large geographical area.

Cheryl also served for several years as clinical faculty for the School of Nursing at California State University, Sacramento and is coauthor of the widely read Prentice Hall textbook, Medical Surgical Nursing: Preparation for Practice. In her spare time Cheryl volunteers as an educator for Resurge International and works as a senior clinical editor for the Journal of Emergency Nursing. Ms. Wraa has long been an ATLS coordinator, an ATCN instructor, and a site surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services. Cheryl also has experience serving on local and national professional boards.

She has been president of the National Flight Nurses Association, a Resurge International nursing committee member, and past president of the Trauma Managers Association of California. In addition, Cheryl brings to TCAR Programs extensive experience with conference and educational planning, consulting, and presenting to audiences across the country. TCAR Programs is thrilled to have Ms. Wraa join the faculty as TCAR director, a role to which she brings her passion for both education and trauma nursing.

Jennifer Fritzeen
MSN RN PCNS-BC

Instructor

Jennifer Fritzeen brings 20+ years of pediatric experience to TCAR Education Programs. Ms. Fritzeen earned her master’s degree in nursing as a pediatric clinical nurse special from Indiana University with a focus on pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric critical care, pediatric burn medicine, and pediatric primary care. Jennifer is a board certified pediatric clinical nurse specialist. Since 2009, she has been the trauma and burn program manager at the prestigious Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.

In addition to regularly teaching PALS and ENPC classes, Ms. Fritzeen has served in faculty positions for the schools of nursing at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC and at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Jennifer has authored and coauthored numerous professional publications and is a popular lecturer at pediatric conferences throughout the United States.

Teresa T. Goodell
PhD RN CNS CCRN CWCN ACNS-BC

Instructor

Dr. Goodell hails from the midwest U.S. and brings to TCAR Education Programs over 30 years of experience as a trauma ICU staff nurse, nurse educator, and trauma program coordinator. Teresa has taught nursing at Oregon Health & Science University, Walla Walla College, & Linfield College, among others. Dr. Goodell’s particular areas of interest are trauma intensive care, wound care, and geriatric trauma. Teresa has served as associate director of the Hartford Center for Geriatric Nursing Excellence at Oregon Health & Science University and as research scientist at the Oregon Medical Laser Center.

She is a board certified adult clinical nurse specialist, critical care nurse, and wound care nurse. In addition to her clinical and teaching practice, Dr. Goodell has directed and participated in numerous research projects, has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles, and speaks throughout the country on multiple nursing care topics.

Muriel Lanford
MSN RN CEN

Instructor

Muriel Lanford brings with her a broad range of experience in various nursing and leadership roles, with a career emphasis on emergency nursing, trauma care, and hospital disaster management.

Muriel holds both baccalaureate and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. For 10 years, Ms. Lanford served as the Trauma Program and Emergency Preparedness Director for the five hospitals of the Baptist Health System in San Antonio, Texas. During this time, Muriel worked closely with the state’s Regional Advisory Councils on Trauma and served on the Governor’s EMS & Trauma Advisory Council committee. Ms. Lanford played an active role in the Medical Operations Center during disaster responses for hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

For many years, Muriel was a Course Director for TNCC and ENPC classes and served as ENPC-Instructor Faculty. Previous experience includes Emergency Department Nurse Manager, ED staff nurse, NICU nurse, and consulting for several private corporations in the healthcare industry. During her 30 years in nursing, Muriel has been a popular lecturer, educating audiences throughout the country on a wide variety of healthcare topics.

Bonnie McCracken
MSN RN NP-c PA

Instructor

Bonnie McCracken graduated from Montana State University with a BS in nursing. She practiced in Billings, Montana for a year before taking off to see the country as a traveling nurse. After gradually migrating to Northern California, Bonnie returned to school and eventually graduated from the University of California, Davis nurse practitioner/physician assistant program. Bonnie’s first position as an advanced practice nurse was in a combined internal medicine and OB/GYN practice. Bonnie later accepted a job at the UC Davis Medical Center, in Sacramento California where she has been providing care to trauma patients for the past 19 years.

Ms. McCracken is currently manager of trauma and orthopedic nurse practitioners for the UC Davis Trauma and Emergency Surgery Service. As part of her role, Bonnie regularly instructs and mentors UC San Francisco and UC Davis student nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical residents. She teaches alcohol screening and brief interventions at hospitals. Bonnie also advises hospitals about nurse practitioner utilization for trauma and emergency surgery.

Tracy Shaw
MS Ed RN CEN CCRN CNRN

Instructor

Tracy Shaw has 30+ years of nursing experience with a primary clinical background in critical care. She has worked in emergency departments, intensive care and coronary care units, trauma services, and in free-standing emergency clinics. In addition to her bedside nursing positions, Ms. Shaw has been a clinical educator for over 20 years. She holds a master’s degree in adult learning and is board certified in emergency nursing, adult critical care nursing, and neuroscience nursing.

Tracy is currently practicing as a trauma coordinator in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2010, she started “Working Noodle Enterprises, LLC”, a business dedicated to nursing continuing education. Her love of learning and teaching is apparent in her enthusiastic and lively presentations. Ms. Shaw has the ability to make complex concepts more easily understandable through her use of visual metaphors and clinical examples.

Cheri A. White
PhD RN ACNP-BC CCRN

Instructor

Dr. White is the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Program Director at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, an ACS verified Level II trauma center in Northern California. She graduated with a BSN degree from Palm Beach Atlantic College and MSN and PhD degrees from the University of Miami, with a specialty in trauma and critical care nursing. Cheri also received a post-master’s acute care nurse practitioner certificate from Drexel University in Philadelphia in 2007. Dr. White is a board certified acute care nurse practitioner and critical care nurse.

Throughout her nursing career, Cheri has specialized in trauma and critical care nursing. Past positions have included critical care staff nurse, ED staff nurse, trauma/critical care clinical nurse specialist, and clinical faculty. She was the Trauma Program Manager at UC Irvine Medical Center , an ACS-verified Level I trauma center in Orange County, California, from 1990-1993. Cheri then joined the national office staff of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) to lead a national research project on procedural pain in critical care. At AACN, Dr. White worked as the Director of Practice, Research, and Membership until moving to northern California in 2000. Cheri also served in the US Navy Nurse Corps from 1991 to 2002 and was recognized as the Junior Nurse Corps Officer of the Year in 1999.

Dr. White came to Sutter Roseville Medical Center in October 2000 as the Trauma Program Director. She has taught all aspects of trauma nursing, including TNCC, ATCN, and the Rural Trauma Team Development Course. Cheri also serves on many local, state, and national committees that influence the development of trauma systems and the care of the trauma patient.

Renee Dirks

Program Coordinator

Renee coordinates all the details in setting up each TCAR and PCAR class. She works with our sponsoring medical facilities. Renee also works with participants in resolving registration issues and markets our classes to the trauma community where each class is held. Renee has experience in shipping and receiving, trade show event coordination and is educated in Business Administration from Western Business College.

Denise Hall

Materials & Event Coordinator

Denise is responsible for all the shipping and receiving of our class materials and book order fulfillment. She also runs our trade shows around the country making sure booth, materials and people arrive safe and sound. Denise is our book keeper and works with all our suppliers and customer accounts payable departments. She has over 10 years experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving and book keeping.

Jackson Beauregard

Chief Wellness Officer

Jackson is our office dog responsible for the well-being of us all. His main duties are to ensure the company officers get a vigorous walk each day and our dedicated staffers get lots of praise and love for the great work they do. Jackson is our comic relief when the office becomes hectic getting our classes scheduled and materials on the the UPS trucks!
